WEC Alarms Limited was established in 1981 as a subsidiary to Woodthorpe Electrical Contractors Limited who were formed in 1963.

WEC Alarms Limited then formed as a separate company in 1987 and since that date have gained a high regard within the security industry.

NACOSS approval was attained in 1987, BS5750 Quality Assurance in 1991 and BS EN ISO 9001:2000 in January 2003. NSI GOLD approval for the Design, Installation and Maintenance of electronic systems was granted in April 2004.

WEC Alarms Limited are also a recognised company of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).

WEC Alarms Limited have been entrusted to carry out security work nationwide, and we have on-going contracts with local authorities and major local and national companies.
